Locus is proud of the long-standing Public-Private relationship with the Province of Ontario. Locus has completed hundreds of solution-based projects across all Ontario Government Clusters and augmented staffing throughout various Ministries.
Java, .Net, Cognos, consultants afford the ministries flexibility and opportunities for knowledge transfer. Most of our staff have existing Security clearance and can be made available in short notice.
Locus takes great pride in our record of achievement as a vendor for the Ontario Government. Since the new millennium, Locus has defined the relationship with the Province of Ontario I&IT groups as more of a partnership arrangement.
The E-Government strategy clearly defines the interaction and engagement model followed by Locus. Fundamentally aiding in the goals of the Province, Locus ensures our team members understand the founding principles.
Government standards are clearly applied in every project or task assigned to us: policy and legal frameworks, governance and accountability processes, common I&IT infrastructure, common standards and best practices, common service delivery components, common progress reporting and impact assessments.
This approach governs our talent acquisition strategies, ongoing certification, technology education and flexibility in engagement models; staff augmentation, project based or consortium partnering. By knowing the goals and standards of the Province of Ontario risk is reduced, quality improved and goals delivered.
Locus is defined by Customer Satisfaction. Time and again we deliver projects in a manner that leaves our clients satisfied and quick to act as references on our behalf. We are proud of that track record.
Since 2002, Locus has interpreted the needs of the Government, and have committed to the principles, methods and outcomes identified by the I&IT charter. Unwavering loyalty to this principle, our “Centered IT Resolution” is a result of this internship.

Locus has once again been placed on the Task Based Vendor of Records (VOR) arrangement with the Government of Ontario. The VOR is used primarily for IT services that require particular knowledge and skills. The agreement offers ministries access to expert resources that will assist them in dealing with many of the inherent challenges and issues involved in determining and implementing appropriate business and technology solutions. Locus has a long track record of success under this VOR, and brings a unique approach to servicing our clients.
The Managed Service Provider (MSP) for Contingent Information Technology (IT) Resources services is a Vendor of Record (VOR) arrangement established to provide to all ministries and approved agencies of the Government of Ontario, and may optionally be used by non-Ontario Public Service (OPS) entities. The MSP will provide MSP services and be the single channel through which Contingent IT Resources are provided to clients. The MSP will be responsible for sourcing, providing and managing the Contingent IT Resources.
The Managed Service Provider (MSP) model reflects input from vendors, as well as market research. It is a best practice recognized by the IT and vendor communities and used widely by private and public sector organizations and jurisdictions, including five other provinces. This new arrangement is in line with the government’s digital transformation initiatives and its work on an integrated supply chain that is anticipated to reduce costs and make it easier and more efficient to do business with government and across the broader public sector.
The Agreement is for a period of three years, commencing October 1, 2020 and expires September 30, 2023.
In 20 years, we have worked for most of the Ontario Ministries including:

The I&IT Solutions Consulting Services VOR Arrangement enables Clients who require Vendors to deliver on I&IT Projects from inception to completion to have immediate access to qualified I&IT consulting resources to deliver end-to-end solutions.
